Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930–$2,080
• Location: Kingwood, West Virginia
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital radiology department
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: Cerner
• Travel Eligibility: Applicable distance requirements apply

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent CT technologist experience
• Previous travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Ability to independently perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures
• ARRT certification, including CT registry or eligibility as required
• Current West Virginia license or applicable compact licensure
• Required credentials and certifications must be current and verifiable
• Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions may be considered
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills

Travel Imaging Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established imaging protocols
• Verify patient identity, review orders, explain procedures, and promote patient comfort and safety
• Position patients accurately and operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness before submitting studies for radiologist interpretation
• Follow radiation-safety practices and hospital radiology department policies
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the care team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and ready-to-use imaging environment
