• Location: Spokane, WA 99204
• Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapy Job
• Setting: Short-term acute care hospital, teaching environment
• Unit Focus: CRT/RRT; may float between units as needed
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; block scheduling in place
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,720-$1,850

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active Washington RRT license required at time of submission
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong background in respiratory diagnostics and neuro diagnostics preferred
• Experience in emergency department, trauma, rapid response, and floor care settings preferred
• Ability to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Comfortable floating between units and responding to changing clinical needs
• Prior experience with Epic charting preferred
• Must be willing to work required holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care across inpatient hospital units
• Perform ABG interpretation and support respiratory diagnostics
• Provide therapy and equipment support including BiPAP, CPAP, aerosol treatments, trach care, and pulmonary hygiene
• Assist with emergency department, code response, and rapid response situations
• Support extubation, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and airway management
• Perform suctioning, airway placement, and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment and alarms
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to meet patient needs in a high-acuity hospital environment
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care
