Travel CT Technologist / Rad Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab in Morgantown, WV

• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4x10 days or 5x8 as needed
• Call: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
• Hours Per Week: 40

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1.5-2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, Cath Lab, or special procedures preferred
• Experience in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, or Special Procedures environment
• Current ARRT certification required
• WV Medical Imaging License required to operate fluoroscopy equipment in the lab
• BLS and ACLS required
• Active state license required; pending license may be considered for submission
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Strong knowledge of adult cardiac and vascular procedures
• Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab
• Support endovascular procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease
• Monitor hemodynamic status and document accurately during procedures
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field during endovascular interventions
• Prepare the procedure room, set up equipment, and prep access sites
• Use specialized equipment and systems including Siemens and PACS
• Assist with cardiac stent placement, catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemakers, and other advanced procedures
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and support rapid response efforts as needed
• Maintain compliance with all job, license, and competency requirements
• Participate in in-services, staff meetings, continuing education, and required competency assessments
• Follow safety, infection control, and isolation precautions while delivering excellent patient care
