• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/22/2026
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,310 - $1,410
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Setting: Outpatient rehabilitation / swing bed environment
• Charting System: Meditech preferred

Physical Therapist Assistant Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation, young athletes, post-operative patients, debility/falls, and balance training
• Valid Oklahoma license or compact license required
• BLS certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a self-scheduled rehab environment
• References may be pending at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Support individualized rehabilitation treatment plans for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Assist patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical conditions
• Work with patients experiencing gait, balance, coordination, mobility, and strength deficits
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the assigned charting system
• Collaborate with the rehab team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach in a fast-paced outpatient rehab setting
• Float to a nearby rehabilitation location if needed
