• Shift: Day shift, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Weekend Coverage: Scheduled rotating weekends
• Holiday Coverage: Occasional scheduled holidays
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Float Requirement: May be required between multiple locations

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience in a busy hospital or surgical setting
• Experience with decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and case cart preparation
• Hands-on Medivator experience required
• Experience with Censitrac tracking systems preferred
• Experience with high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing
• Ability to work in a high-volume, Level II trauma environment
• CBSPD or CRCST/HSPA certification accepted
• Strong knowledge of sterilization methods including steam and Sterrad
• Experience supporting OR workflows, instrument coordination, and perioperative teams
• Must be able to meet compliance deadlines and credentialing requirements promptly

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Process a wide variety of trays and devices across multiple service lines
• Perform high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing using established protocols
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor cycle quality for safety and accuracy
• Track instrumentation using departmental systems and ensure proper documentation
• Support OR teams by preparing and delivering sterile supplies aseptically
• Maintain sterile storage standards and ensure readiness of instruments for procedures
• Assist with inventory coordination, tray standardization, and equipment organization
• Collaborate effectively with perioperative and clinical teams in a fast-moving setting
• Adhere to infection prevention standards and maintain a strong focus on patient safety
