• Schedule: 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hour days

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of dental hygienist experience preferred in an outpatient, dental office, or clinical setting
• Current and active Ohio Dental Hygienist license
• Current BLS certification
• Current X-ray or radiation safety certification
• Comfort working with patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills
• Local anesthesia certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide quality dental hygiene care under the general supervision of a dentist using established clinical procedures
• Deliver preventive oral care and patient education to support long-term dental health
• Assist with patient care, sterilization, and related clinical support duties as needed
• Support clinic and community dental health education activities
• Work collaboratively with a dental assistant during assisted hygiene appointments
• Manage an average daily patient volume of approximately 7 appointments
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and care
