• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends

• Orientation: 8 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois respiratory care license required at time of submission
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience in NICU and PICU required
• NRP and PALS required
• At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred; candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered
• State or national certification/licensure required for allied health professionals
• Must be able to work rotating weekends and 12-hour night shifts
• Recent Nursys documentation required at submission
• Legal first and last name must be used for submission and onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a hospital setting
• Support NICU and PICU teams with specialized respiratory therapy interventions
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Deliver safe, compassionate care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Adapt to night-shift workflows and contribute to reliable weekend coverage
