Job Requirements

• Current Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license
• BLS certification required
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient therapy settings required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Apply evidence-based therapy approaches in a collaborative hospital rehabilitation environment
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Track patient progress and adjust therapy goals as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the care team
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans, home exercises, and recovery goals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
