Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 - $1,300
• Setting: Acute Care Oncology / Long-Term Care
• Location: Springfield, OH 45504 — a welcoming community with a convenient, accessible setting for an on-site healthcare role.
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, every other holiday
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel LPN assignment with potential for temp-to-perm consideration
• Start Date: 5/4/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment or eligible LPN applicant status
• One year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice is preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• EKG exam required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
• Ability to work night shift schedules, adapt quickly, and contribute to a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care under the direction of an RN and other licensed providers
• Participate in the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Administer ordered medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Perform phlebotomy services and assist with wound care, routine procedures, and patient monitoring
• Collect and document accurate patient data, observations, and care updates according to unit guidelines
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition promptly to support timely care plan revisions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
