Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of clinical experience in pediatrics, pediatric inpatient care, or a closely related setting
• Valid physician credentials and eligibility to work in the state of Oklahoma
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Fellowship training preferred
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric airway management, including newborn intubation
• Comfort managing non-invasive ventilation and newborn ventilation support
• Ability to perform or assist with UVC and UAC placement
• Experience with emergency response skills such as needle pneumothorax decompression

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric care in a fast-paced inpatient pediatric unit
• Evaluate and manage approximately 7 patients per shift
• Support newborn and pediatric airway and ventilation needs
• Perform procedures and interventions as clinically indicated, including intubation and umbilical line placement
• Respond to urgent pediatric situations requiring advanced stabilization skills
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
