Pediatrics Physician Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Pediatrics experience required
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric airway management
• Ability to manage acute pediatric and newborn care
• Strong procedural skills in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in a busy clinical setting
• Provide acute care for newborn and pediatric patients
• Manage non-invasive ventilation and newborn ventilation support
• Perform intubation as needed, including newborn intubation
• Complete UVC and UAC placement when indicated
• Perform needle decompression for emergent situations
• Support trauma-related pediatric care in coordination with the care team
• Assist with preferred procedures such as chest tube insertion, minor laceration suturing, and circumcision when appropriate
