• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 – $7,280 (competitive locum tenens radiology pay)

• Setting: On-site at multiple Access Alexandria sites (PACS workflow)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Per Diem) – per diem radiologist opportunity
• Shifts: Flexible scheduling available:
  • Mon – Sun, 12pm–8pm CST (7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or at least 14 shifts/month)
  • Additional 4pm–8pm shifts available
  • Holiday coverage required
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Emergency privileging available
• Technology: Experience with PACS, Powerscribe 4.0 and RPCE Tech Stack preferred

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology (Radiologist, Diagnostic Radiologist)
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Louisiana
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a practicing radiologist (ED/inpatient experience preferred)
• Comfort interpreting high-volume ED, inpatient, and urgent exams in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with RPCE Tech Stack, Powerscribe 4.0, and PACS workflows preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with ED, inpatient teams, and referring physicians

Responsibilities / Clinical Duties

• Interpret STAT/URGENT ED and inpatient exams, including stroke, trauma, CT/CTA, MRI, and general radiography
• Meet minimum RVU productivity target per shift (32 RVUs)
• Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reads to support emergency medicine and inpatient care
• Collaborate with medical staff and technologists to optimize patient care and imaging workflow
• Maintain high standards of documentation, quality assurance, and patient safety
• Provide coverage for holidays and peak demand periods as required
