Travel LPN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,430–$1,670
• Location: Chardon, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Adult EKG, ECG, and cardiac stress-testing services
• Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 25, 2026
• End Date: January 23, 2027

LPN Job Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Ohio LPN license or eligible license verification
• At least 1 year of practical nursing experience
• Experience proctoring at least 200 cardiac stress tests
• Demonstrated ability to work with Definity, Lexiscan, and dobutamine in accordance with licensure and facility protocols
• Strong patient assessment, cardiac monitoring, clinical documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to successfully complete required skills validation, competency testing, health screening, and background verification
• Current professional references and employment history

Cardiac Diagnostic Nursing Responsibilities

• Prepare adult patients for EKG and cardiac stress testing and explain procedures in a calm, compassionate manner
• Assist with the safe performance and monitoring of exercise and pharmacologic stress tests
• Use experience from 200 or more previously proctored stress tests to support accurate, efficient test delivery
• Administer or assist with Definity, Lexiscan, and dobutamine as permitted by licensure, provider direction, and facility policy
• Monitor vital signs, patient symptoms, and cardiac responses throughout testing; promptly recognize and report changes
• Support patient recovery and provide appropriate post-procedure instructions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection prevention, emergency response, and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with providers and the cardiac diagnostic team to promote a smooth patient experience
