About the Position

If you enjoy hands-on nursing and variety throughout your shift, this position may be a good fit. Responsibilities may include medication passes, intake screenings and health assessments, obtaining vital signs, responding to patient concerns and medical emergencies, and monitoring ongoing and chronic healthcare needs.

You’ll communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the appropriate medical provider, work with healthcare and facility staff, and maintain accurate documentation, including paper medication administration records (MARs).

New to Corrections?

You do not need correctional experience to apply. We’re looking for LPNs with a strong nursing foundation who communicate well, are comfortable working independently, and know when to bring a concern to the medical provider.

We’ll discuss the position and expectations during the interview and answer your questions about working in a correctional facility.

If you’re interested, apply today. We’d like to learn more about your experience and what you’re looking for in your next position.
