- Call only coverage -- 1:3 call ratio
- ~3 phone consults and 6 patients seen per 24-hour call period
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- General surgery required -- adult, pediatric, and trauma
- Laparoscopic procedures required -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
- GI endoscopy required -- upper, lower, and colonoscopy
- Vascular surgery required -- aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, AV shunt
- Chest tube, central line, and PA catheter placement required
