• 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts -- 1 to 2 weeks of coverage per month
• Minimum 6 x 12-hr shifts per month required
• Level IV NICU -- regional referral center
• Infants cared for from 22 weeks gestation
• High-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia required
