Responsibilities

• Conduct and monitor overnight polysomnographic (PSG) sleep studies.
• Apply electrodes and sensors to patients according to protocols.
• Record and analyze data from sleep studies to assist in diagnosing sleep disorders.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during testing.
• Work closely with physicians and sleep specialists to develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients on sleep hygiene and therapy options.
• Maintain and calibrate sleep monitoring equipment.
• Travel to different healthcare facilities based on assignment needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Certification: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Sleep Technician (CPSGT) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in sleep study technology preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze sleep study results, and excellent patient care skills.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
