• Number of Staff - 60 nurses; 5 PCTs

• Type of staff:

• Day Shift - 1 charge, 10-12 nurses, 3 PCTs

• Night Shift - 1 charge, 10-12 nurses

• Patient Ratios - 1:2

• Type of equipment - Baxter Pumps

• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• At least 1 year current BMT ICU Experience

• BLS & ACLS

• NIH Stroke Certificate

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Chemotherapy Certification

• BMTCN and/or OCN

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Administration monitoring of high risk infusions

• Neutropenic Fever protocols (blood culture draws, IV medications)
