Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Vail, Colorado
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based CT and radiology department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, through February 8, 2027
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week, with 32 hours guaranteed
• Call: No call requirement
• Work Arrangement: On-site

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, Computed Tomography Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a hospital environment
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet applicable Colorado credentialing and registration requirements

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and radiographic procedures according to established imaging protocols
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging, explain procedures, and promote patient comfort and safety
• Operate CT scanners and radiology equipment safely and efficiently
• Review imaging orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate exam preparation
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow quality-control and radiation-safety standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
• Support a positive patient experience while maintaining efficient imaging department workflow
