Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830–$1,920
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week

• Additional Scheduling Information: Floating is required, and travelers may be asked to float to sister campuses based on operational needs.

Progressive Care Registered Nurse Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent progressive care or PCU nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Florida
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Degree accreditation documented in the professional profile, or at least 5 years of acute care nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to care for surgical progressive care patients and function effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Willingness to float when needed and work according to unit standards

Surgical PCU Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a surgical progressive care setting.
• Monitor complex patients, recognize changes in condition, and initiate timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the care team.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic.
• Maintain safe patient ratios while prioritizing care for multiple patients with varying acuity levels.
• Float to designated units or nearby sister campuses as assigned.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture and provide care consistent with the standards of the unit.
