Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care Travel Nursing Assignment in Spring Grove, Minnesota

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960–$2,060
• Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care / Geriatric Nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Assignment End Date: February 8, 2027
• RN Shift: 8-hour evening and night variable shifts
• Shift Times: Approximately 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. or 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Hours: Approximately 40–48 hours per week; orientation hours are not included in the weekly guarantee
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Call: No on-call or callback requirement
• Float Requirement: May float to an affiliated location approximately 25 miles away as needed
• Work Setting: On-site, 43-bed long-term care facility and clinic

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota
• At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate degree or nursing certificate
• Experience in long-term care, geriatric nursing, and medication administration
• Matrix charting experience preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and complete tasks in a timely manner
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; exemptions may be considered
• Willingness to participate in weekend, holiday, and variable-shift rotation

Long-Term Care RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established care plans and standards
• Monitor resident conditions, identify changes in status, and communicate concerns promptly
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and handoff reports
• Collaborate with nursing assistants, medication aides, providers, residents, and families
• Respond to resident needs while prioritizing tasks across assigned residents
• Support a clean, safe, and respectful care environment
• Float to another nearby affiliated location when operationally needed
