Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Antioch, California
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190–$2,310
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 17, 2026
• Nursing Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Healthcare Setting: On-site Med/Surg Tele unit
• Orientation: 16 hours

Med/Surg Tele RN Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse experience in an acute-care setting
• Valid, active California Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as applicable
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Successful completion of required compliance, credentialing, and background processes

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients from admission through discharge
• Assess and address patients’ physical, psychosocial, safety, and educational needs
• Monitor telemetry patients, recognize changes in condition, and communicate concerns promptly
• Apply the nursing process, clinical judgment, medical therapeutics, and healthcare technology to support safe patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, ancillary services, patients, and families or support systems
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established orders, policies, and standards of care
• Provide patient and family education to promote understanding of diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and care coordination activities
