Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Location: Enola, Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg
• Setting: On-site, hospital-based medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Start Date: November 17, 2026
• End Date: February 21, 2027
• Contract Duration: Approximately 14 weeks
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, communication, and nursing documentation skills
• Ability to work scheduled 12-hour day shifts and provide dependable, patient-centered care

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses
• Recognize clinical changes promptly and collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Float within the medical-surgical and telemetry service as needed to support patient care needs
