Travel MRI Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,170–$2,330
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital MRI department
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Shift: 8-hour days
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Contract Length: Approximately 26 weeks, with flexible 13–26 week options
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Call, Weekend, and Holiday Coverage: Not required
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers are welcome to apply

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• At least 18 months of permanent MRI technologist experience; a minimum of 1 year of experience is required
• Active ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT-MR)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Active Ohio license in hand at the time of submission; compact licenses may be accepted when applicable
• Demonstrated experience operating Siemens MRI scanners, including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto systems
• Competency with routine neurological, body, and musculoskeletal MRI examinations
• Cardiac MRI experience is not required for this position
• Ability to complete required credentialing, background screening, health requirements, and orientation assessments

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and MRI safety standards
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment, including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto scanners
• Complete routine neurological, body, and musculoskeletal imaging studies
• Screen patients for MRI safety considerations and explain procedures clearly and professionally
• Position and monitor patients throughout examinations while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Review images for diagnostic quality and repeat sequences when clinically appropriate
• Document examinations accurately and collaborate with radiologists, the radiology department, and the broader healthcare team
