Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Zanesville, Ohio
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 15, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call: No call requirement
• Unit: Primarily a cardiac medical-surgical unit, with occasional floating to other medical-surgical areas

Medical-Surgical RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 3 years of current or recent telemetry and/or stepdown nursing experience
• Previous hospital-based medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current Epic electronic medical record proficiency, clearly documented in the application
• Ability to successfully complete a telemetry competency assessment at the start of the assignment

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and cardiac patients during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Complete patient assessments, medication administration, care planning, clinical documentation, and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Provide care in additional medical-surgical areas as needed, including wound care, stroke, oncology, respiratory, observation, and emergency department/medical-surgical overflow
• Use Epic accurately and efficiently for electronic health record documentation and care coordination
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment
