Travel Oncology RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required; candidates may be able to obtain certification after starting
• South Carolina RN license or a compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions may be considered
• Professional references may be pending at the time of submission
• Complete and verifiable work history and education history required
• For this travel nursing assignment, candidates must reside outside the applicable 50-mile local radius

Oncology Clinic RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in an outpatient oncology setting
• Assess patient conditions, monitor symptoms, and communicate changes promptly to the clinical team
• Support physicians and other providers during daily clinic visits
• Assist with care coordination, patient education, treatment preparation, and follow-up planning
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
• Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and continuity of care throughout the oncology experience
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help deliver efficient, high-quality clinic care
