Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Jamaica Plain, Boston, Massachusetts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340–$2,510
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 4, 2027
• End Date: April 4, 2027
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour overnight shifts
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital radiology department and CT imaging
• Position Type: Travel CT Technologist assignment

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech in a hospital or comparable diagnostic imaging setting
• Current CT Technologist certification
• Active Massachusetts license or applicable professional credential, with license and certificate verification required
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient safety practices, and radiation safety principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively during overnight hospital shifts
• Current resume, professional references, and completion of required compliance documentation

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography examinations according to established protocols and provider orders
• Prepare patients for CT imaging, explain procedures, and promote comfort and safety throughout each exam
• Operate CT imaging equipment and assess images for quality and completeness
• Administer contrast media as authorized and follow applicable contrast and patient safety procedures
• Accurately document exams, patient information, and relevant clinical observations
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the hospital care team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment during overnight coverage
