Travel ICU RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,290–$2,410
• Start Date: October 24, 2026
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Times: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: As needed
• On-Call: Not required
• Floating: As needed to PCU, medical-surgical, and telemetry units

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license; candidates with a temporary license may be considered while obtaining full licensure
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced critical care setting

Travel ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment according to established protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record
• Float to PCU, medical-surgical, and telemetry units as needed
