Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370–$2,500
• Employment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week; 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: Approximately 6:45–3:15, with flexibility as needed
• Call and Late Shifts: Required as needed
• Weekend Schedule: Weekends as needed
• Holiday Schedule: No holidays

Operating Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 2 years of recent operating room nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, sterile technique, and surgical safety standards
• Ability to work scheduled call, late shifts, and occasional weekends as needed
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative experience
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and patients for surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the care team
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection prevention practices, and surgical safety protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes before, during, and after procedures
• Accurately document care and support efficient operating room flow
• Participate in call coverage, late shifts, and weekend assignments as scheduled
