Travel Nursing Job Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional operating room nursing experience
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license
• Operating room nursing experience with knowledge of perioperative workflows, surgical procedures, and patient safety practices
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and clinical judgment
• Successful completion of required license verification, competency assessment, background screening, and onboarding requirements

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care throughout the perioperative experience
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and patients for scheduled surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative care team
• Maintain adherence to sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and surgical safety protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing clinical needs
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses
• Support efficient operating room turnover and contribute to a positive patient-care environment
• Adapt to changing case volumes and assist in other assigned areas as needed
