Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920–$2,060
• Location: Hummelstown, PA 17036
• Healthcare Setting: On-site operating room with occasional emergency department imaging
• Start Date: October 20, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 17, 2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday evenings
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Options: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: Potential for one call day per week

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Rad Tech
• ARRT certification or registration
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated competency with intraoperative imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operating room and surgical environment
• Professional communication skills and a strong commitment to patient safety

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm, O-arm, and portable imaging equipment in the operating room
• Provide accurate, timely intraoperative imaging support during surgical procedures
• Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the perioperative team
• Assist with portable imaging for emergency department patients as needed
• Position patients safely and appropriately while maintaining comfort, dignity, and privacy
• Follow radiation safety practices, infection prevention standards, and department protocols
• Prepare, operate, and maintain radiology and imaging equipment according to established procedures
• Document completed exams and communicate pertinent information to the care team
