Travel CT Technologist Job Details

CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist in a hospital or comparable acute-care setting
• ARRT(R) certification required
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current seasonal influenza vaccination required from October 1 through April 1; exemptions are not accepted
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain imaging accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and follow radiation-safety and patient-safety protocols
• Travel professionals must meet applicable assignment distance requirements

Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations and general radiologic imaging procedures according to established protocols
• Provide medical imaging support for oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency, outpatient, and specialty care services
• Perform fluoroscopy, operating room, orthopedic, X-ray, and CT procedures as needed
• Prepare patients, verify clinical information, explain procedures, and promote comfort and cooperation throughout examinations
• Operate CT and other imaging equipment safely and efficiently while producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with department, regulatory, and radiation-safety standards
