Join our healthcare team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Pomona, California. This 13-week travel nursing contract offers an on-site night-shift opportunity for an experienced RN to provide cardiac monitoring and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Observation Care unit. Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse license valid in California
• At least 3 years of professional nursing experience
• Recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience in an observation or acute-care setting preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts in an on-site hospital environment
• Required documentation, certifications, professional references, and requested time off must be provided during the submission process
• Willingness to comply with applicable workplace dress and appearance standards

Telemetry Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in an Observation Care unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in telemetry findings and patient status
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Support a safe, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment throughout each shift
