Travel Surgical Technologist Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with rotating call coverage
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shift designation
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: On-site operating room

OR Technician and Surgical Technologist Requirements

• Current Washington State Surgical Technologist license
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required upon hire
• Ability to scrub a wide variety of surgical cases
• Willingness to participate in rotating call and 24-hour call coverage
• Strong knowledge of operating room instrumentation, equipment, and sterile technique

Operating Room Surgical Technologist Responsibilities

• Provide support for the care of patients in the operating room
• Prepare, assemble, and maintain operating room instruments and equipment
• Scrub a broad range of surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique
• Help ensure safe, effective, and therapeutically appropriate patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared operating room environment
• Participate in rotating call coverage and respond to surgical needs as assigned
