Travel Nursing Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 23, 2027
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday scheduling
• Work Setting: On-site Extended Recovery unit
• Holiday Availability: Ability to work two major holidays and one minor holiday during the assignment, as scheduled

Travel RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing, Extended Recovery, or a comparable acute-care specialty
• Strong acute-care patient assessment, prioritization, and clinical judgment skills
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the assignment’s holiday expectations

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from procedures and surgeries
• Perform focused nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly identify changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Manage post-procedural recovery needs, including pain, nausea, airway, and vital-sign monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery instructions, medications, and follow-up care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
