Urologist Job Requirements

• Board-certified Urologist
• Ability to provide weekend urology call coverage and respond within 30 minutes when needed
• GME teaching experience preferred, with comfort supervising and supporting residents
• Ability to obtain emergency privileges during onboarding
• Comfort using a personal phone for off-site call coverage

Urologist Responsibilities

• Provide every-other-weekend urology call coverage from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Evaluate and manage routine urology cases, including difficult Foley placements and kidney stones
• Respond to clinical needs within the required 30-minute timeframe
• Support PA-led initial assessments and intervene when physician-level evaluation or treatment is needed
• Collaborate with residents and the academic care team to promote safe, high-quality patient care
• Manage an anticipated low-volume call schedule while remaining available for urgent urology consultations
