OB/GYN Physician Job Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN
• Active, unrestricted Texas physician license
• Active DEA registration
• Availability for the complete approved holiday coverage window
• Ability to provide safe, independent patient care and respond to urgent obstetric and gynecologic needs

OB/GYN Physician Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynecology coverage during the designated holiday assignment
• Evaluate and manage practice patients who present to the hospital
• Provide unrestricted 24-hour call coverage throughout the scheduled period
• Perform appropriate obstetric and gynecologic assessments, treatment, and follow-up
• Document patient care accurately in the eCW electronic medical record
• Collaborate with hospital-based clinical staff to support timely, high-quality patient care
