Experienced MRI Technologists can join a 13-week hospital travel assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia, supporting acute-care radiology, advanced Siemens MRI imaging, and a neuroscience-focused program.

This on-site travel MRI Technologist opportunity offers the chance to work with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and Fuji PACS in an acute-care hospital radiology department and mobile MRI unit. MRI Technologist Travel Job Details

• Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200–$2,360
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• End Date: January 25, 2027
• Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts per week, for 24 hours per week
• Shift: Day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 p.m.
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital radiology department and mobile MRI unit
• Equipment and Systems: Siemens MRI, EPIC, and Fuji PACS
• Weekend, Holiday, and Call Requirements: None
• Department Support: Radiologist in-house; lead technologist or supervisor available

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Active West Virginia MRI license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as the sole MRI technologist
• Strong physician communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to start IVs as required for MRI procedures
• Professional grey scrubs required; scrubs are not provided

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in hospital-based and mobile MRI settings
• Conduct brain, spine, MRA, abdominal, pelvic, chest, and musculoskeletal studies, including long-bone and joint imaging
• Prepare patients, verify imaging orders, screen for MRI safety concerns, and explain procedures clearly
• Start IVs and provide imaging-related patient care in accordance with department protocols
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and document examinations accurately in EPIC
• Use Fuji PACS to manage, review, and transmit diagnostic images
• Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain patient safety, image quality, workflow efficiency, and professional standards while working independently
