Cath Lab Travel Job Details

• Location: Pontiac, Michigan, in the greater Detroit area
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,350–$2,530
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• End Date: February 14, 2027
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, approximately 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour daytime shifts, typically 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Call Coverage: Weekend rotation with approximately 4–5 call days per month
• Equipment: Canon and Siemens cardiac catheterization and imaging systems

Cath Lab Technician Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of cardiac catheterization lab or cardiovascular procedural experience
• Current CVT, RCIS, or ARRT credential, with cardiology experience as applicable
• Ability to meet applicable professional licensure and certification requirements
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work scheduled daytime shifts, participate in weekend rotation, and respond to call assignments
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Responsibilities

• Support the cardiac catheterization team during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and patients according to established protocols
• Operate and assist with Canon and Siemens imaging and cath lab equipment within scope of practice
• Maintain sterile technique and follow applicable safety, infection prevention, and radiation safety practices
• Monitor procedural supplies and equipment readiness throughout each case
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the cardiovascular care team
• Complete accurate documentation and support efficient procedure room turnover
• Provide scheduled weekend and call coverage as assigned
