Job description
- Facility: Kaiser Permanente – Tehachapi Medical Offices
- Location: Tehachapi, CA
- Start: ASAP / November
- Duration: 5 months with option to extend
- Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine Clinic
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
- No call
- Volume: Approximately 22–24 patients/day
- Patient Population: All ages – pediatric through adult
- EMR: Epic / Kaiser HealthConnect
Clinical Scope
- Primary and preventive care
- Acute & chronic condition management
- Physical exams and health maintenance
- Colds, flu, URI, UTI, STDs, rashes and arthritis flares
- Wound checks
- Women’s health within Family Medicine
- Wellness and blood pressure checks
- Diagnostic testing and documentation
- In-basket management
- I&D, suturing and toenail removal are preferred but not required
Requirements
- Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner – NP only
- Board Certified
- Active California license required
- BLS (AHA)
- Must be comfortable treating both pediatric and adult patients
- No temporary privileges
- Credentialing: approximately 90 days
Rate Structure
- Bill Rate: $185/hr all-inclusive
- OT: $277.50/hr after 8 hours/day and/or 40 hours/week
- Admin Fee: $25/day
