Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,670–$2,870
• Location: Portage, Wisconsin
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital CT and Radiology
• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Schedule: 8-hour evening/night shifts, typically 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; schedule may vary based on operational needs
• Hours: 36 hours per week, with potential low-census and on-call procedures
• Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Orientation: 8 hours

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience and 1 year of X-ray experience
• Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or a related field
• Current Wisconsin license
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Experience with Epic or a comparable electronic medical record system preferred
• Ability to work evening and night shifts, participate in weekend and holiday rotations, and float as needed

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and accurately
• Operate GE 64-slice CT equipment and radiography equipment from GE, Siemens, and Philips
• Prepare patients, verify imaging orders, obtain appropriate histories, and explain CT and X-ray procedures
• Apply radiation safety practices and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting efficient hospital imaging department workflow
• Float to affiliated facilities in the surrounding southern Wisconsin region and to an on-campus orthopedic outpatient unit as required
• Participate in on-call coverage during low-census periods and respond to call-back needs when scheduled
