Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630–$1,750
• Assignment Length: 24 weeks
• Start Date: December 14, 2026
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital emergency department and respiratory care services
• Weekend Coverage: Weekends as needed
• Additional Flexibility: May float to nearby partner hospital locations as needed

Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist license in hand at the time of submission
• Active National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential in hand at the time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at the time of submission
• Recent work history must be included in the professional profile
• Two recent professional references from a manager, supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or director in the respiratory care specialty
• Ability to complete required onboarding, screening, credentialing, and competency requirements

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide respiratory care in the emergency department and hospital setting
• Deliver respiratory treatments and interventions according to patient condition and established clinical standards
• Monitor respiratory status and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Support neurodiagnostic and specialized respiratory care coverage as assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow department policies and procedures
• Float to other approved locations when needed to support continuity of respiratory services
