Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract in Globe, Arizona

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• End Date: January 4, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Unit: Adult Med/Surg, Telemetry, Observation, and Step-Down
• Typical Patient Ratios: Med/Surg and Observation approximately 1:6; Step-Down approximately 1:4
• Call: May be offered during periods of low census as part of the rotation
• Location: Globe, Arizona

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arizona
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg and telemetry nursing experience
• Experience caring for adult medical-surgical and observation patients
• Step-down nursing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the travel assignment schedule
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical judgment skills
• Comfort working with electronic medical records and common inpatient equipment

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg, telemetry, observation, and step-down patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, neurological status, and changes in patient condition
• Complete nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established clinical standards
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record
• Use Alaris infusion pumps and Omnicell medication-dispensing systems safely and effectively
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and continued care
