PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Resource Teacher for a full-time elementary school assignment in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. This opportunity allows you to work with students requiring specialized academic support while becoming part of a school team committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

Position Details

• Assignment Dates: January 4, 2027 through May 21, 2027
• Full-Time Position
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 35 paid hours
  • 2.5 unpaid lunch hours
• Elementary school setting
• Resource Teacher position
• Location: Creekside Elementary, Boulder, Colorado

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License in Special Education, or currently in the process of obtaining licensure
• A copy of your CDE License or CDE COOL record must be submitted with your resume for consideration
• Candidates without proof of licensure or eligibility will not be reviewed
• Please note: TEE sponsorship is not available
• Minimum of one year of classroom experience required
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Must be a flexible and supportive team player
• Passion for helping students achieve academic and personal success

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students receiving special education services
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliant educational documentation
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
