Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Contract Duration: Approximately 13 weeks
• Assignment Dates: October 12, 2026 through January 16, 2027
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts; approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-Call: Shared on-call rotation
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,210–$2,380

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Experience supporting coronary procedures and cardiac device implantation, including pacemaker placement
• ARRT certification
• Imaging certification or equivalent applicable credentials
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday and participate in a shared on-call rotation
• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab safety, sterile technique, radiation safety, infection prevention, and procedural support

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiac catheterization laboratory, imaging equipment, supplies, and patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians and the multidisciplinary cardiac care team during coronary catheterization procedures
• Support cardiac device implantation procedures, including pacemaker placements
• Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards
• Operate and monitor applicable imaging and procedural equipment
• Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure duties, including equipment checks, room turnover, and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in the shared on-call rotation and respond to urgent procedural needs as scheduled
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, efficient patient care
