Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Beachwood, Ohio, near Cleveland
• Healthcare Setting: Main Operating Room
• Job Type: Travel contract for an Operating Room RN
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120–$2,230
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, through February 14, 2027
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Call: Night and weekend call responsibilities; frequency varies based on staffing needs
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Operating Room Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 1 year of operating room, surgical nursing, or perioperative nursing experience
• RN Surgery certification or equivalent perioperative qualification
• Demonstrated ability to work across all assigned surgical service lines
• Strong knowledge of surgical safety practices, sterile technique, and perioperative patient care
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and participate in night and weekend call rotations
• Current clinical competencies and required credentials must be verified before onboarding

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Support circulating and other assigned operating room functions according to department needs and demonstrated competency
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and surgical instrumentation for scheduled procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and promote adherence to surgical safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes promptly, and document care accurately
• Demonstrate flexibility and clinical readiness across all surgical service lines
• Participate in required night and weekend call coverage
