• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180–$2,290

Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in West Virginia
• At least 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, progressive care, telemetry, or acute-care med-surg nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including scheduled weekends and holidays
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• BSN is not required

Cardiac Stepdown Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac stepdown and medically complex patients
• Monitor patients for changes in cardiac rhythm and overall clinical status, and promptly escalate concerns
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and update individualized care plans
• Collaborate with providers, nursing colleagues, patients, and families to support coordinated acute-care delivery
• Promote patient safety, education, comfort, and continuity of care throughout the hospital stay
