Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870–$1,970
• Location: Warrensville Heights, Ohio, near Cleveland
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 23, 2026
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Healthcare Setting: Operating room and perioperative services
• Call: Participation in nighttime and weekend call may be required

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent permanent operating room nursing experience required before beginning a travel assignment
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio or a valid compact nursing license in hand at submission
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience with both circulating RN and scrub nurse responsibilities
• Experience with robotic, genitourinary, gynecologic, and general surgical procedures preferred
• Ability to provide a recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Active required credentials must be in hand; pending certifications are not accepted
• Willingness to complete orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing
• Must meet applicable background screening, drug screening, immunization, and occupational health requirements

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled nursing care throughout the perioperative experience
• Circulate and scrub for robotic, genitourinary, gynecologic, and general surgery cases
• Prepare operating rooms, supplies, instruments, and equipment for scheduled procedures
• Maintain accurate surgical counts and promptly communicate discrepancies
• Handle and document surgical specimens according to established protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader care team
• Support nighttime and weekend call coverage as scheduled
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and excellent clinical outcomes
