Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment – Minneapolis/St. Louis Park, MN
Travel Labor & Delivery RN job in the Twin Cities. Job Requirements
- Active Minnesota RN license
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- NRP certification
- EFM certification (basic + intermediate, basic + advanced, or intermediate + advanced)
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Previous experience in L&D with confidence supporting laboring patients and newborn care
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
- No new graduates
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support physicians and the interdisciplinary care team during delivery and related procedures
- Educate and reassure patients and families during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Document care accurately and maintain strong communication with the clinical team
- Float within the Labor & Delivery unit as needed based on patient care demands
- Maintain readiness for scheduled weekend and holiday coverage when required
