Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,400
• Location: Minneapolis, MN 55426 — Minnesota travel nursing / Minneapolis healthcare job
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks (May 23, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts (Labor & Delivery RN)
• Hours per Week: 32–40 hours
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site (Travel RN / Registered Nurse)
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: As needed
• Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float within Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• On-Call Requirements: None
• RTO Policy: No more than 7 days of requested time off

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D, perinatal nursing, maternal-newborn care)
• Active Minnesota RN license (compact license accepted if valid for MN) — RN license required
• BLS (AHA only)
• NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• EFM certification required (basic + intermediate, basic + advanced, or intermediate + advanced)
• Submission required: resume, active license/certifications, skills checklist, and prescreening questionnaire
• New graduates will not be considered — experienced travel nurses and registered nurses only

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns across Labor & Delivery and immediate postpartum units
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM); accurately interpret tracings and escalate concerns
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries; support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal perinatal outcomes
• Float within the Labor & Delivery unit as needed to meet patient care demands
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation; follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and quality measures
